Have a new customer a dentist that went from an answering machine to the SBX VM. We set this up on a menu with a single digit dial (1) that goes to the recpetion/general mailbox. Apparently this guts patients are used to leave your message after the beep on an answering machine. Is there a way to default the AA so that if nothing is done or chosen it will default to the mailbox for ext.100? Thanks

Error/Time Out Destination -- if
the caller dialed an invalid
number or dials nothing, the call will be routed to
the Error Destination (Tone /
Attendant / Hunt / VMIB).
PGM 228 + FLEX 12 +
FLEX 2 Value +
[HOLD/SAVE]
VALUES --
FLEX 1 = Tone
FLEX 2 = Attendant (Ring Assign)
FLEX 3 = Forward to Hunt Group
FLEX 4 = VMIB Announce (001-070 Adm)

As you can see there is no choice for a mailbox. You would have to send the call to station 100 which is auto forwarded to voice mail. The other option is to program the night ringing to send the calls directly to mailbox 100 and not use a menu but then callers who can push buttons would not be able to leave a message in any other box.

Thanks that will work. The mailbox for 100 is the general delivery anyway so it goes exactly where we need it to go. Thanks for the help
