I have a 2 part question.
#1, I am trying to do my first network install from an MBX to a Summit 80. I am trying to use the 8 built in VOIP ports. I have installed the license for the addition channels. My question is, how do I access the built in ports? The documents I find talk about the ones on the VVMU card. In Program 103, the VOIU card is not showing up.
#2 Do I really have to use 4 digit extensions when networking? My customer has had 3 digit extensions on every phone system they have had, so I was hoping I would not have to change them.

You should be able to do 3 digit networking, but obviously 4 digit gives you more options for the future.

Three digit is going to be a much bigger pain than it is worth, too many numbering conflicts, your customer will have to live with it, just match the last three digits to what they have and say to them you just have to dial 2 plus the extension or 1 plus extension to call the other site.
