Experienced telecom tech but installing my first ever Vertical; Summit 800 with 9224 and 9208 phones. I know I can set an extension to receive an internal call either tone or hands free. If an extension is set to tone can you still have the option to intercom them hands free thru the speaker? The NEC and Nortel phones we have installed always had the option it was a feature code or on a flex button. Any insight appreciated thanks!!!

Awesome Professor shadow I will test it today we go live next Friday the 22nd. Is there a one or two page PDF on key features you can send me a link to? Features such as the one you just described and for example if I intercom an extension and want to send it directly to their voicemail without ringing the phone. Thanks!

9200 Series User Guide

Quick cheat sheets are generally made up by the installer for the end user. You can "Cut & Paste" from the .pfd file for the document you wish to create.

That can be achieved in may ways and is programming oriented.

One way is to have called forwarded to VM when the DND is activated.

PECS IP & LDP PhonesTo transfer an active call to a user's Voice Mailbox
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
2. Press the [MESSAGE/CALLBACK] button.
3. Dial the Station number or press the {DSS/BLF} button for the desired station.
4. Hang-up to complete the transfer.

Conditions 1. The LED of a {LOOP} or {POOL} button will display the status of a call until the station no longer has call supervision i.e.; the call is successfully transferred.

Of course this is dependent on how you program:

Direct Transfer to Mail Box Destination (PGM 120-Button 6)
Transfer Recall Timer (PGM 180-Button 7)
Preset Call Forward -Transfer to Mail Box System Timers -Transfer Recall Timer

By the way, I have never worked on Vertical Summit of any kind, but I do know Google.

Google is one of those new fangled web search engines. Kind of like Infoseek, Magellan or AltaVista. But I don't think it's going to catch on.
