Does anyone know of a way to automate the backing up of multiple SX-200s? I can't get any script software to get past the required "4 enters" for login.

Thanks
Kevin

What program are you using to connect? I know Telix and Procomm both have very good scripting built in. Hyperterminal sucks.

Tried PowerTerm and Procomm with no luck. I have heard that this is some type of security feature in the SX-200 for anti-hacking.

The 4 carraige returns are actually to help the 200 determine the baud rate you are using, since you can now go up to 38400 on the terminal.

In the scripting, a carriage return is sent as ^M which is the same as control-m or ascii code 13. Have your script send "^M^M^M^M", then wait for the login prompt and go from there.

Thanks for all the response...

I got it to work by putting pauses in between the enters. I guess my software was sending the enters to fast.

Thanks
