My Telephone provider in Brookhaven just started ten digit dialing this week and my system will not dial a ten digit number. It has me down on local calling. What should I do?
What software are you running?
Sounds like you ARS is not programmed to work with the 10 digit dialing.
You might check Form 26 to see if it restricts 10 digit calls.
If that doesn't help,
we would need more details on your system.
1. How are you dialing the number? 9xxx-xxx-xxxx or selecting a trunk?
2. Do yo have a display phone and if so what does the display show when you try to dial the number.
3. What type of trunks are you using? T1, DID, PRI or LS/GS?
Thanks
Kevin
I am running 309 software. PBX SX 200

I am dialing 9 plus the number. Do not have a display on my phone when dialing. I don't no what trunks I am running.
Can you post what is "nested" under the 9 leading digits in Form 26?
