Anyone know how to get caller i.d. to work on ML/EL? Do they have to be T-1 only to work?

Will the auto-attendant pass on the ANI info?

I believe you will need a PRI circuit to do it right.

Don't know about the AA question, but sometime between LW17 and LW19, Mitel released CLASS 8 port trunk cards and CLASS ons cards. There are some restrictions and 'buts'. and you need DSP's in every bay with CLASS trunk or ons cards to make it work, as I recall. And "It ain't cheap!". Look at a LW19 CD.

You can get CLASS off either the 8 port card or a spine.

I think DSP's are needed to support class on ons sets.

For the 8cct LS/CLASS card, you need LW19 Release 2.0(any feature level)or better. You can send caller ID to any display phone. The caller ID stays with the call, when transferred.
The additional hardware and "buts' only apply to getting caller ID to an analog display sets.

Thanks for the help, guys. I believe the customer has a PRI. I'll find out if the customer ever calls back to discuss this!
