customer has a sx 50 and said room 118 phone is lock.Looked in book and couldnt find command for locked phones. He said they get a busy when calling that room. Can you lock a phone on the sx 50 if so can someone tell me what the command is to unlock the phone.

Not sure about the SX-50 but Mitel usually means locked out as in off hook too long. Can also be a bad phone, corroded jack, wiring…

Like jimmy said, it's an automatic diagnostic run by the SX50 to protect it's resources. If an extension goes off-hook without creating a call session, the system locks it out of service. There's no command to clear the lockout, you have to remove the problem and the system will release the lockout automatically.

Lift the bridging clips on that room and see if the lockout goes away. If that clears the lockout, go to the room and troubleshoot back from that end.
