I am trying to get a newly installed SuperSet (ext 415) to ring with an analog station (x101) on overflow but the SX50 won't let me add ext 415 as the 2nd member of the ring group (Command 381). I get an error msg "Entry must be an extension" or something like that. The SuperSet is ext 415 as station equipment number 004 (Cmd 301 004).
Any ideas?

Supersets cannot in a ring group

Thanks, but that is poopy. So how can I get my analog ext 101 and superset x415 to ring on incoming calls? I suppose a Hunt Group (Cmd 361) is my only other option. I tried that with it set to Circular but that wasn't desirable cuz I would like for them to ring simultaneously. Does a Circular hunt group work like round robin (ie. with each call start at the next member in the group)? Would a Terminal hunt group start at the first member each call? Thanks.

what don't you add x101 as a key line appearance immediate ring on the superset

Make x101 a line appearance on x415 and when you call 101 they will both ring. If you make it a Multiline appearance you can get more than 1 call.

The obvious and easiest solution is make Ext 101 appear as a line position on the Superset. As stated above, making it ring immediately will produce the desired condition of the Superset ringing simultaneously with Ext. 101. Making multiple appearances on the Superset will allow multiple incoming calls to be answered at the Superset.

Getting a hunt group to work will leave you with a delay before the Superset would ring.
