Have a hotel that is getting a great deal of abusive calls from someone trying to extort money. IT is a Mitel 200ICP CX with a PRI. Any way to route a call based on the caller ID?

Is it the same caller ID? If so, ask the carrier to block the CID. If it's not just one number, then there is not a lot you can do. The problem is these low lifes can spoof their CID and that makes it near impossible to route them based on CID.

If you have automated attendant, you might have the AA answer all calls and provide only ONE route to the front desk. Trap all the other single digit dialing to a disconnect.

Rcaman, thanks for the response. The carrier, Windstream, says they can't do anything unless the hotel changes to its voip service. Sounds like a little BS to me. The guy is using an auto-dialer and we have already done the AA thing and has slowed him down. Law enforcement now involved. Thanks again.
