Do you need to use an additianl wafer and connector to the mics trunk line expansion moduale to get access to lines 9 plus (

Not sure what you mean by wafer, but in order to utilize an expansion trunk mod, you will need either a 6 or 2 port fiber expansion card and you will need another 25 pair jumper and block. The trunk mod will plug into the fiber card starting at the top and working down, station mods from the bottom working up.

getting the 9th line started on MICS...have core MICS and one trunk module two CI's in the core and one CI on the module...have the 1st 8 lines running fine...the station sets are fine too...and so is the call pilot....need another line...
It doesn't show up...maybe I have to put another cable to the module and run it to a wafer (66) and punch down the new 9th line onto it....originally thought it would work through the core MICS by punching down the line on the next postion

Maybe you can't put 9 there.

The 9th line should go on the Yellow-Orange/Orange Yellow pair (Pin # 42 & 17)--Your schematic looks correct. The 66M block should take all 12 lines from that module. The last line (#12)should be on Violet-Brown/Brown-Violet. If it doesn't come up, then maybe something's wrong with your last line cartridge. Maybe try a reset.

I hope I didn't give you wrong info. I didn't see Johnnyrebs post---maybe I don't understand how your system is set up. Sorry.

The basic cabinet will only go to 8 lines, you will need to punch down another block to the trunk mod, and the 9th line will be on the w/bl pair. The lines will "skip" like they do on the main cabinet, the only difference is the trunk mod can handle up to 12 lines per block as opposed to the 8 of the main cabinet.
