Hi,
We have 3x8 DR5.1 system...When our receptionist transfers a call to an extension, if they do not answer it comes back to the receptionist. I looked at the extension in the Forward No Answer and it is set to start talk - xt258. It does not happen all the time nor does it happen to the same person all the time. I replaced the phone and our tech rebooted the software. What else could it be? Thanks!!

DRT must be set greater than CFNA

Delay Ring Transfer. It is a setting like Call Park Timer, Page Timeout, and those sorts of things.

If you have paid a teck for a new phone and to reboot your system ,,,if he didn't check out the dtr setting and cfna on the first srevice call on a trouble like this ,,he ows you a freebe

yea i agree with you. he modified the trnsfr callbk to 12 versus 6. oh brother and i bought a phone too.
