A customer of mine purchased a C6 module and wants me to install it on his 8 x 24 cabinet. I have not done this before and need to know if the module hooks up on any digital port and if I just parallel the C.O. lines onto the 25 pair. Is there any special programming that needs to be done to activate this and what software does he need to have in the 8 x 24 to make it work.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide me.

At the risk of sounding stupid (too late I guess) The "C6 Module" doesn't ring a bell. What is it used for?

The C6 is designed to work with the Norstar Compact DR5 KSU. The M8 is an 8 line model designed for use with the Norstar Modular DR5, Norstar Centrex+.
The CII is connected to the system using bridge-taps on incoming external lines.
Quoted from the installation card.
"1.Using bridge taps, connect the flying- leads of a 25-pair cable to the external lines you wish to recieve call information on. (The bridge taps must be connected on the KSU side of the primary protectors)
2. Connect the line circuits to the appropriate pins in a 25 pair connector using a 25 pair cable of the appropriate length.
3. Plug the 25 pair into the CII
Connect the TCM loop.

Hope this helps.
