A customer has a Smdr5 and a Cti 100. He wants me to hook up to his Mics 4.1. and call pilot 100. I have no manuals to install these. Can anyone tell me what I need to get these fired up?

The SMDR uses a station port. Once connected, use a db9 to db 25 cable to hook your laptop to the SMDR and use hyperterminal to watch it log the calls. Dedicate a PC to this SMDR and load call accounting software to it. Simple as it seems.

Where can I get the software?

No "software" needed. The SMDR's are backwards compatible. The system will know what to do with the piece of equipment once installed.

Mike,

I just looked into this today. There is a company in Oshawa that sells it and they are the Nortel authorized dealer for it. It's not cheap but I'll send you the info. The guy sent me a quote on a pdf. They'll send you a trial copy first as well.

Chris
