Has anyone heard anything about a patch to update the ICS systems with the new schedules. It is not a problem changing the time but it will require 4 changes every year...
I hear MICS 7.1 is available. I'm an end user, my price was $*** from my vendor for the upgrade. I decided to turn of auto DST at all of my sites, sent the local receptionists Feature **TIME instructions -- much less expensive, and no travel.
Please do not post prices in the open forum.
All of the systems that I have in service are 7.0 and below. So 7.1 has the new schedule built in it?
That is correct 7.1 addresses the issue. The auto daylight time can be disabled (only 2 adjustments per year required)and if you subscribe to caller ID and have auto time & date enabled the clock will correct itself on the first incoming call after the time change.
Today, I just installed a CICS with 7.1 software. It has 3 choices for Daylight Savings:
NO
Standard
Extended
If you are in the US where most states have chosen to go with the new time, pick the extended.
