How does this work? In the setup & op guide, it says when the Business Open is N, the non business hours greeting plays. I have the Evening at 5pm and the Non business hours at 5pm and the non business greeting plays? Why is there times to set for this if you invoke it by setting the business open to N?

Inappropriate post?
If so, Red Flag it!

The business Closed prompt will play IF the business is CLOSED. It will come on at the pre-set time......OR if you manually set business Opem to NO, You are saying the business is CLOSED. Therefore.....Business CLosed prompt is played.

Think of "Business Open is N" as being a manual override.

Dave
The Business Status is Y (Yes), thats the odd thing. I had the customer change the Non Business Greeting to another greeting and it played. It seems like the voicemail is stuck in with the Business Status being N (No). I had the customer reset the voicemail and it did not help. HELP!

F982 business status is an override of the table time database.

The non business time on in the table database kicks in EVEN if you leave business open in F982.

It works like the ringing service setting in the phone system. You set it to automatically switch at a set time, but can also you can override it and set night mode manually.
Thats the answer I was looking for. Tks marv.
