If you were using telset programming, you would go into admin programming (which we have to assume you can do because we can't post passwords here), go into lines (1st category after terminals and sets) and set the lines as Caller ID. It is pretty much plain English programming.

Did you buy this from an American or Euro source or get it locally? They should have shown you how to access the manuals contained in the system with a RJ45 network cable attached to the BCM 400.

I do believe in your saying, "Always expect the unexpected!!" I never thought for one second in my life a Jewish American princess would be helping a Saudi man program a Canadian BCM400. By golly did you ever fill up the gas tank with high octane on that one. Shalom and write if you need more help.

thanks for the reply. we bought it locally and it's just my first time to install it in our company. it gives me a lot of trouble before i manage to install it successfully. I ask for help in some of my friends and they told me that I need to install CTM to get this feature in bcm 400. I guess I just have to buy and install this one for my system to get it working.

I got confused on what to do in element manager for this feature. there is a box for caller ID feature but I can't put a check on the box. but anyway, I will try first to install CTM device and see what will happen.

thanks again......

A line has to be assigned to ring on a telephone before you can make it a CLID set. Feature 811 is the CLID feature, you may get some use out of it.
