I have a problem with a CP100 on a compact ics,when you dial in on the auto attendant and dial a number it tells you that the number is invalid, if you dial it again(same call) it goes through. I tried the reboot of both ksu and cp to no avail. I checked the ksu ports and they are fine. I tried to upload firmware patch "dsppatch" from Nortels website and it get 3/4 the way through and gives me "error 2" nowhere does it tell me what that means or if this patch is for my problem, anybody see this? Oh , it worked for 2 months before this started.any help is appreciated. Tom

Is it happened on any lines? Are you trying that from sell phone or from POTS? It might happened on one Line only. Sometimes you have the same problems by coming in from sell phone. It has to be troubleshoot thoroughly.

What level of software is the CP?

It happens on all lines , land line or cell. The cp 100 is 1.5. I read in another post that the dsppatch was built for this problem but I'm getting the error 2 and for the life of me can't find out what that means. Nortels website is useless .

You should never mind the patch and upgrade to 3.1.

I did a reinstall and the problem is gone, if it comes back again I will revisit the patch . Thanx for your input. Tom
