I just want to know of reputable wholsale nortel wholesalers that I can depend on to get a quote on the BCM50 units for current and future customers should thay ask for a quote.

Also, I did read that these units use linux as it os but what PBX engine does it use? Was curius if it was * or something on that line.

Also, I have never consigured the interface on a bcm50 but have done my share of command line configuration of the asterisk box. I can imagine it is a whole lot easier to configure the bcm50. Anyone care to share?

The bcm pbx uses a proprietary engine called thenordx110 wich even dough it is linux based it stil has to be converted to rcpd format once that done then its plug and play, the easiest way to connect to the bcm 50 is by dyndns wich is free but you must register with nortel then you get log in's in your bcm works with the mac adress of the pbx when your unit is online make sure your ccr tree is up to date.
good luck
