I have a BCM 450 and a BCM 50 that I have configured on a companies network for IP Trunking between the two sites. I have the IP Trunk parameters set within both systems, as well as the IP addresses for each system programmed in the IP Trunk routing field. I have the routes built in both systems to access the VOIP Trnuks Line pool using 8 to access route 002 which is using BlocB for Voip Trunk access.

When testing and the user dials 8 to access the IP trunks it says no lines free on the phone. I have all sets programmed to access BlocB and I have double checked the routing and keycodes to make sure I have the availabiltiy. Any ideas as to why I cannot access BlocB to go out

I can also go into the ping application under administration and ping from both sites. One to the other so I know the communications is up and working.

First, have you reset a system after you assigned key code for IP Trunks usage? Second, have you added Networking key code? What kind of Networking are you using and what Emulation, SL-1 or something else? Thirdly, can you tell us, please, what Trunks numbers in your BlocB and how you programmed your Destination code and Routing? There is much, much more but at least something.

Both systems have been rebooted, the lines in Blocb are 047-078. I have the route table built with route 002 using Blocb, with a destination code of 8. This is because both sights have the same DN number range. We are using the data connection between the sites for the IP Trunking. I might add that I have another customer that has a BCM400 and 2 BCM 50's in place and I have them connected via IP Trunks and working no problem. I have used the same programming outlay from the BCM400 on the BCM 450 as in using the same programming guides. Also we maintain the network for both customers, so I have support on the network side as well. So I wasn't sure if this was something with the BCM 450 or not. I have also installed all the latest patches on the BCM 450. I hope this gives you enough information. Thanks again.

open your BCM monitor and see if you are sending out the right digits. Verify your target line programming for public and private received digits. are you using a signaling server, did you program the BCM IP's in the resource table for the IP trunks? There is a lot of settings you could check. Hope this didn't sound to nerdy to you? anyway good luck

Thanks for the replies. I have checked all the settings, and as for the BCM's monitor's I can look at both systems and see the correct digits being sent out of each system. The issue is they are not being recieved from the remote systems. It simply times out and goes to a busy. I'm still working on it. Thanks for all the asistance.

Do you have '8' programmed under "Destination Digits" in Resources>Telephony>IP Trunks>Routing Table?

Why BlocB? it should default to BlocA...
