Unable to access F983 remotely. Drops back to date and time. Works on site. System and Nam reset and Rad replaced. Any thoughts? Voice Mail is working.

What version MICS or CICS??
What version NAM?
Which RAD do you have? old long one, or short new one?
You tried different RAD - same model?
Have you tried that RAD on a different system?
Works on site? what works? going through the phone doing F983? or connecting directly through the RAD does it work?
Without some of the above info, can only give a guess. What version of NRU are you using?
Don't you need a password other than default for remote access?
There is no default password for a new RAD. you must program it with a password.
Once in you can get into VM Admin with the F983 then you need the password. But you have to get that first step.
Let me rephrase the question, Doesn't the NAM need a password other than default for remote access?

Do you get into the NAM any other way except F983 plus password??
You can't get to that point until you get past the RAD.
Process:
Dial in.
RAD password
F983
VM Password.
Sorry don't have much more info as far as system type. Asking for someone else. But yes can access all other programming of system except the VM. IE when RAD answers get connected and date and time comes up on phone. Can do system programming just not Voicemail. Hope that helps. If need to get system type ect.... LMK
Are you entering the proper credentials to log onto voicemail? If memory serves, after you press feature 983 it will prompt you "log:" on the screen. You must enter the sysadmin mailbox and password to get past this prompt.
You never get the prompt for the password.
After your logged in and the phone is on the screen with date and time if you do F983 the display goes blank for a second or less then right back to date and time.
Repeat one of the first questions......

Sounds to me like the feature code is not getting entered correctly, thus it is timing out and taking you back to the date/time screen. Could be that you are clicking too fast on your screen w/ your mouse. Try clicking each digit and waiting a couple seconds before you press the next. That is the only thing I can think of. There should be no reason why this does not work on the RAD.
