I have worked on many avaya systems in the past but got a call from a business with a nortel system and needs help.

There auto attendant and voicemail is not working.
I went on site and tried Feature 983,981,9*1 and they all come up inactive feature.

I did a **XFTEST and removed all the feature codes and powered back up the call pilot and still not working

I tried to console into the call pilot and get nothing displayed even on boot up of the cp 100.

When the call pilot boots lights 1 and 2 come on and stay on. The three lights to the right flash on for about 1 sec then go off. Lights 1 and 2 stay even when i have the cp 100 disconnected from the ICS.

Any ideas?
Could this be a bad power supply?

It has a 8volt power supply and I verified 8.23volts with a multimeter.

I would change the power supply first. That solves many issues.

Testing the power supply without load is meaningless. It may show power on your multi-meter, but when you plug it in to the CP, it can waver or drop.

Don't be fooled by the folks selling $50 ~ $100 "replacement" power supplies. All you need is a 8vdc, 1500ma power supply and you're GTG.

CallPilot 100/150 LEDs
When the CallPilot 100/150 starts up, the LEDs change to indicate where the CallPilot 100/150 is
in the start up process. Table 5 shows the order in which the LEDs change and describes what each
state indicates.
When the CallPilot 100/150 is operating, the LEDs indicate the operating status of the CallPilot
interfaces. Table 6 describes the purpose of the LEDs.
Table 5 LEDs during startup
LEDs Description Indicates
1, 2, 3 and 4 turn on. Power is connected to the
CallPilot 100/150 and the RAM test is
in progress.
1, 2, 3 and 4 turn off. RAM test complete.
1, 2, 3 and 4 turn on one
at a time starting with 1. The LEDs
continue to cycle on and off in this
order.
The CallPilot 100/150 is being
upgraded.
Note: This sequence does not appear
every time you restart CallPilot 100/
150.
1, 2, 3 and 4 turn on in
order until all of the LEDs are on. The
LEDs then turn off in the same order.
The LEDs continue to cycle on and off
in this order.
The CallPilot 100/150 is booting up.
1, 2, 3 and 4 turn off. The CallPilot 100/150 has finished
booting up.
Note: The LEDs then light to indicate
TCM connections as described in
Table 6.
Note: The CallPilot 100 does not have LEDs 3 and 4.
