Hi,

I have 2 locations on is equipped with MICS 7.1 and the other has NEC DSX 160.

I upgraded both locations to a PRI.
When the telco tried to configure the PRI to PRI dialing they suggested * or # and then the 4 digit extension. The Nortel didn't like it, so we tried 99 and then the number, no go.
Has anyone ran into this before? What is the right way to do that? 4 digits to 4 digits.

I added speed dials for now but I rather use the PRI to PRI 4 digits dialing.

Thanks!
Shira.

I want to dial just 4 digits from building to building, I ran into busy signals when it was sent to either #NNNN or *NNNN

Thanks!

Both directions or one. I dont see any problem if you would have a routing start with any free digits and have a Target line on Norstar to match it(3NNN or 3NNNN) and delete 3. What is the problem? Busy only if no access code , Routing is not set up properly or Target line is not programed or receving a wrong digits.
