Customer has an MICS with pri. They took a power hit and analog trunk card blew. Rplaced it but noticed when I reprogram date/time it only holds for a few minutes then defaults. All other programming holds. Anyone seen this?
I'm thinking the main KSU took a hit as well.
Try removing the AUTO TIME&DATE (change to N ).
Then see if the time stays.
If still not keeping up - then like Dave says.
Defaults to what? I recently had a carrier who was sending the wrong time via PRI signal (about 8 hours slow). As NTlayoff suggests, turning off AUTO TIME/DATE solved the issue.
Edit: Oops...nevermind. I didn't fully read your post. Problem occured after lightning strike...most likely fried something (on board memory capacitor?).
Clocking crystal is gone, replace KSU.
