Hello,

I am thinking about installing an older MICS or CICS in my home. They have been collecting dust in my basement and I thought that I should put at least one to use. My one question is...Can these systems support shared line 1 CID on all phone sets? For example, call comes in on line 1, rings ext.221 which is the kitchen set. Could caller id be displayed on this set and bedroom, hallway, etc. sets at the same time?

Thank you!

Depends on the software rev.

6.1 and up allows auto caller ID
Older software only one set gets auto caller ID
For auto caller ID to work the line must ring and not appear only

I should add
On the older software all other sets can press F811
If a set is appear only then press the line button after F811

Like Curly stated, but you can also program a feature button in lieu of doing F811 each time. just hit one button...

You'll also need CLID line cards.
