my customer wants to use a computer for a music sourse and have me run it from the head set jack of the computer to the system. it is an 824. i have seen mp3 players not have enough volume to work. is this workable. thanks dave

If using a Headset jack it should work (as long as it is not a 1/4" jack).

Remember that your source is stereo and the Norstar is mono. I have seen a lot of techs hook up one side of headset.
When you do that you lose half of the signal (and makes it sound weak).
I Always take the ground wire and twist together and then twist the two Signal wires together. Then use that to tie into the phone system.
I have NEVER had a problem doing this. And you get the sound from both the right and the left.
