This is a CICS with cp100 have just added new extension and want to setup the voicemail which it lets me do , then when I go to the set in question and want to just say the name ,it wont record it ,when I call that extension and it goes to vm there is no greeting eg don trump no audible then the generic voice plays

Maybe try deleting the mailbox, reboot CP and try again.

I am curious though does it say speak up or give a tone to start recording etc?

Do what Curlycord says...THEN

Also make sure you created a MAIL BOX and not an Information Box. If you had used up all your mail boxes, it automatically does an INFO box.

When you call that ext and vm answers only the generic part of message plays,-------------- is not available please leave a message
I have deleted the mail box twice but made no difference , I will try reboot the system tks
