we have a dual cabinet system that has the first cabinet with fully loaded trunks and stations. the second cabinet is not expanded we also have voicemail in the last four ports of the first cabinet. the a/c power is crummy there and the system would go down and when it came back up the two cabinets wouldnt talk to each other second cabinet couldnt receive calls from the first and also couldnt access their voicemail we talked to several people and noone seemed to have any ideas as we arent panasonic reps we cant call them and the only solution i came up with was to put in a true ups so that there dont have anymore problems and its worked fine. both cabinets are the same revision software and we have tried swapping the master slave relationship all the no avail if anyone has any ideas can you email me and let me know thanks i advance for any and all help thrown my way my boss doesnt have a clue. so thats why im here.

This is a common problem on dual cabinet
systems. They do need to be Synchronized
at start up.
A good UPS with true voltage correction is the way to go. Trippp-Lite, APC and ONEAC all make decent units. You do need true voltage
correction not just battery back-up
give me your fax number and I'll send you the Snyc. procedure if you need it.
If you have poor AC power your going to have problems no matter what brand or type of system your running.
