I have a telephone set "T7436" on a KX-TD500 system that intermittently drops. Loses display and will drop user when on calls also. No set pattern. Calls seem fines for weeks and then bam. This is the only station doing this. Going on for months. Have replaced voice jack, switched ports, replaced set and line cord. The system is grounded. ANY IDEAS????

sounds like you've done everthing except try a new pair. sounds like there is a short somewhere. depending on the way the cable was ran you may have a small pinch in the cable and possibly even a small cut. i would swap pairs first, then look at replacing the cable. you have ruled everything else out.

I have already switched to the green pair and still the same issue. It sounds like the run shouold be replaced. Thanks
