Here's what I'm trying to do: I'd like the phones to ring approx 4-5 times, if no one answers, I'd like the VS to pick up the call in VM mode, ie. "If you'd like to leave a message for John, press 1, if you'd like to leave a message for Jane, press 2..." and then have the call go directly to the VM extension. I've tried pgms 411-413 on my KX-TA624, but 411-413 is "Delayed Ringing Assignment", which only delays audible ringing in number of seconds, and not in number of rings. When audible ringing does occur, the phones ring for 1.5 - 2 times and then goes to the VS Automated Attendant. Thanks.

The TA 624 does not allow for a specific "ring" count. The most delay you can have is 15 seconds.
Only set the 2 TVS ports for delay, not all of the ports. This should give 3 or maybe 4 rings.
You could program additional delay in the TVS as for when it actually answers once it sees ringing.
As for press 1 or 2 you will have to set up a custom menu and then define the digit translation tables for 1 through 9 and 0, #, and *. then you can tell that digit to do a variety of different things, which one of is "go directly to mailbox #"
