Can anyone pm me with a estimate on repairing a ksu hit by lightning, It's a panasonic 616 easa-phone, The first 8 digital ports are gone but the last eight appear to be working. Customer wants to replace the phone system but insurance company wants to know the difference in price. I am a comdial dealer I do not have access to that info thanks.

That phone system is only worth about $100. I'd just buy a new one. Chances are the repair fee is more than that, if they even have the parts. I called Panasonic to see if I could get some for my 616 and they said they no longer sold them.

Repairing a system after a lighting strike I wouldn't do it. It has been mention b$ get another system its cheaper.

Give the insurance co. what they want

replacement cost $$

repair cost $$ plus labor a few hours of labor plus parts will put the repair cost higher then replacement
