I have a TVP200 connected to TD500.
some managers need not to allow callers from outside to be able to dial their numbers directly, they wanted their calls to be answered by the secretary first, any idea on how to do that??

what type of trunking do you have on the system?
are you using a custom dialing menu?
do managers have there own dil or d.i.d numbers?

I use 30 PRI card, no custom dialing menu,and managers don't have private CO lines.
The whole issue is that I only want to restrict some extension from being dialed thru the TVP.

the best you could do is put the voicemail
into tenant 3 and all that don't want to be
transfered via aa into tenant 2 and leave all others in tenant 1 and the deny inter tenant
intercom dialing to 2 from 3 seems like it would work .

Yes,that is absoutley right, I assigned mgrs tel. to tenant 3, secretaries tels to tenant 2 , allowd TN 2 to call TN 3 , denied TN 1 to call TN 3, and allow TN 3 to call TN 1 & 2.

I'm glad it worked for you I've never actually worked on the 500, dialed into one once. so all I did was poke around in the software you lucked out though the smaller td's did not do tenants sorry slang "dealio"for whats the deal just curios
