KSU: KX-TD1232-4 (rom P211D00712A) single cabinet
VM: KX-TVA50 (with 2 port DPITS expansion card)

PROBLEM:
I can't get the voicemail answer after delayed ringing (during the night as day rings all staff). I've changed 604 to various settings but nothing seems to get the voicemail to pickup on incoming calls. If I change the lines in 408 (night dil 1:1) to extension 165 it works fine and picks up immediately but we don't want immediate ring. Any ideas?

Completed and tested. All four ports called operate correctly on intercom calls - "Please enter your password."
Change your intercept timer to reflect the number of rings you want for your delay, then assign your voicemail system as your intercept destination in night mode.

KEVHAWK13

You da man!
Thank you! After viewing the differences in DIL 1:1 and DIL 1:N it seemed more sensible to for all ringing for any given extension (including voice mail) to be located in 603/604. Thank you! I really should have posted here days ago! There's a large indentation in the drywall (behind my desk) with the shape of the back of my head. Much sleep follows now.
Elmo, Kevhawk was referring to field 410,
you should enter your pilot # 165 for all trunk groups.
Intercept time is 203.
I don't know how you got the TVA to answer with just DIL-1N unless for some reason your integrated with inband rather then DPITS.

Mr.Gemini:

We have a successful working voice mail. Now I just need to forward the extensions to voice mail (intercom 7105 + 165).

Apologies, my previous post was mangled. What I meant to say was my brain got 'hung-up' on programming fields 603/604. I became entirely focused and continuously thought it better work with fields 603/604 and I was going to make it happen. You know that single-minded stupidity techs fall into once in a while (often). So...after taking a long break I began to search the net and finally remembered this forum. Finally. I'll need to tattoo the link to my arm or something...
