Is there a way to set up a shared extension that is displayed and rings on 2 or more phones, without setting up a group?

We have several users that telecommute several days a week. I have a VPN tunnel set up and working. I need a simple solution to have their office and home phone both ring so we dont need to keep track of where they are on any goven day.

We have a Panasonic KX-TDA 100 system using KX-T7630 and KX-NT136 Phones.

Thanks,

Dave

Just a guess but you won't get the home phone to ring unless you call forward the local extension to the home phone.

Another option would be to have your vendor set up your system to use "soft" phones over the VPN to the home worker so they stay on your system.

Good Luck.

only way is with a group, put both of his extensions in a incoming call group and use the group number as his extension or change the group number to be his extension number, but when he calls it will display a different number.

Or like KLD said you could put his desk phone on a fwd no answer to the home phone, which is one of the nt136 you have?
