I had a KX-TA624 get taken out by lightening. I have a spare KX-T61610 and want to temporarily use. I have them working but customer called and says the intercom won't work on the two 7720 phones but work ok on the 7050 they have. Anyone know if the 7720 will work with the 616?
I don't have the answer but.......
7750 is monitor only while the 7720 is equipped with a speakerphone. Neither has a display.
I have used the display 7735, 7736, 7730.
Worked OK.
Don't know about the display as they do not have any  The KX-T7050 will ring when called but the KX-T7720 does not ring on intercom but will ring for CO.
If it works for external calls it should work on internal
could those phones have auto answer on?
ask MrGemini he knows all about Panasonic He's the best He helps me all the time. Just give him a ring
I did talk to Merritt Dennis, but thanks for the kind words.
The older stuff I'm OK on but the newer stuff throws
me. :toast:

MrG
I've seen the 7700 phones act a little funny with the 616's and older 624 versions. When the Intercom button is pushed it gives you intercom tone for about a second then it goes away.
I think that if you make dss buttons to intercom, then it will work Ok.
Nobody remembers those big yellow stickers on the 7700 boxes that warned about using them with 624's -4 or below?
I had a kx-t30810be v2 in my store
I put a 7030 and a 7730 on it an the both worked fine
the 7730 is the display model but I don't think it makes a difference
the 308 is the same as the 616 so there should be no problem
Thanks for all the help
Thats a real pain, having to go to site to turn back on a switch, I would love to stick a pin on the ringer switch, then they will know if they had messed with it or not.
