I'm trying to use the flash for 3way calling via provider. Flash, get 2nd dial tone, make call, flash again,hang up, both outside parties are connected. Works with test set direct on the co.I have tried to set the flash timer (413) to everything from 100ms all the way to the high end of 1200. when I hit flash I can hear stutter on line then goes back to original call.
Funny thing is when I hit the flash button about 3 or 4 times in a row real fast I'm getting my 2nd dial tone. Another strange thing is when I use flash (just hitting the flash button once) on a call I originate it works every time. Only when I try to flash a call I have received I have trouble. Could there be a difference in the way the co is treating outbound calls verses incoming?

Some carriers only allow you to use this feature on calls you originate. Check with telco.

in field 990 you need to enable External Feature Access.. (a01 b03)

He said it works sometimes (on his originated calls) so that's gotta be enabled already...

Thanks a bunch Brok! I changed the field in 990 as you suggested and it works like a champ.. Now I need to get the one across the street to do the same. (same company diffferent switch. Toshiba DK 424. They want to trans. calls between the 2 buildings. Thanks again...
