Hi

In the past I have setup ISDN Extensions using P-MP for ISDN terminals through the KX-TDA systems.

If an ISDN terminal is using an ISDN line which is using the settings P-P, can this be replicated on the KX-TDA?

Bit confused as I was always assured ISDN devices would use P-MP!

Thanks.

If a device is set to p-p, then you can set the extension to p-p. it is not normally done like this as we would normally allow an ISDN extension be a bus circuit allowing more than one device to work. If the extension and device is set as p-p, and all settings are the same it will work.

Thanks OBT

I assume like the P-PM devices, the P-P devices will require the prefix 9 to be programmed at their side also?

Yes, it does, I tried Hotline before on a td1232 and it would not work. I must try it on the ncp. will let you know what happens

Update, set up my ISDN modem on an ISDN extension and if will not work on a hotline on the NCP either. so if they are using an ISDN fax or phone you will have to dial 9
