anyone had luck with this?

If you have 3 numbers that are fixed, set up 3 ICD groups (ie 6xx) and point the custom service feature to those numbers. Actually if it's an extension's cell, we usually pick +300 as in 105 and 405 for the cell. Anyway, define the forward number as 9+ and class it to go off premise. Now you can 3 digit dial and you conference. Note that you can't pull the number back so the cell has to be able to handle voice mail.
Carl
but I want flash transfer using the same Co Line?
Okay. So can you do it by hand? If you can, then look up EFA (External Feature Access).
From a s/l set it's Flash *60

CHECKING WITH TELCO COMPANY CONF WORKS
IF YOU HANG UP DOES THE CALL STAY UP OR DROP AND LEARN TO USE THE shift KEY
I tryed flash dialed the number It rang when I hung up it dropped the call. Thought I tested this before? Called frontier and they do not know what a flash transfer is, They will get back to me.
would like to Implement sip but dont know how reliable it would be.
LOL. Now you are going to get a lesson in telco features. I'd go back to that "let's use 2 trunks and pay the penalty of conferencing." Anyway, don't let them sell you Centrex and yes, look into SIP as a trunk on an ATA.
Carl
will sip on an ata give him of premise transfer?
Down here it,s called "Call Transfer Disconnect"
with most carriers it is part of a basic package.
Works fine with Pan, DSX and most others.
We use it for virtual extensions and like a tie line for multi site. You can put a number on a button and use to speed dial or transfer.
