I have a little problem with TDA 200.I am using analogue lines that are routed through DISA.Everything works well, but soon my client found that when outside callеr dial unexisting extension number the call was dropped. Is there any option to UMC doing so in case of wrong dial the conversation is redirected to operator.I tried to find solution but it was unsuccessful.

I tried to get it to do it as well and same problem as you, if they dont dial are busy no problem, if the dial the wrong number disconnect.

after tring everything., do you know what number they could be dialing, if it was a small range of numbers you could set up a range of extension numbers as groups or ps and set them on fwd to operator this will help stop wrong numbers

Hi OBT,
Their numbering plan is with 1XX and 2XX.I suppose that outside callers dial similar numbers. The option that you offer with groups is quite clever solution. It would solve the problem because they use about 90 extensions. The remaining 110 numbers from their range will gather in ICD groups.Annoying is that I already use 9 and will remain less free.It turns out that the pbx simply allow dialing only existing numbers by default and it can not be changed.I accept this as a disadvantage of all TDA, TDE and NCP.

Thank you for reply

only other option is to fit a tva/tvm 50 and use AA on that, it will comeback to the caller and let them know they have dialled a incorrect extension

You can CF all unused extensions to operator in maint console.

use CF/ALL

the only problem I can see is we dont know if they are dialing real extension numbers, so you would have to set up numbers that dont exsist on the system to cover them all.

The thing I would do is say on outgoing message is if you are not sure of the extension please hold the line,or have dial 0 as operator

If they dial the wrong number then. thats their fault

Right, I was thinking of use with a VM, a virtual extension tied to Digital or DXDP.

The problem is solved.

We overwrite the message again as OBT suggested.I added one more card for extensions and non existing numbers from their range decreased.I used the method with forwarding of ISD groups. They remain enough free. Now everything is OK.But a pbx with so many extensions(112) using analogue lines(32)with DISA is inappropriate decision.I was not able to convince them to use ISDN lines with DDI numbers. In Bulgaria, if you are VIVACOM subscriber(previous national operator) and use their analogue lines you cannot convert them into VOIP or ISDN (other providors offer this service). They could migrate to another provider taking their numbers but did not want. Just have used the old way а long time(before with TD1232) and do not want changes ......

Thanks for all suggestions!!!
