Is it possible to block a call from a specific number to a specific DID. A client has had one of their DID numbers receive calls multiple times each day from the same number and cannot get them to stop calling. They would like to block the one number from calling the one DID. Any ideas? The provider says that cannot do it.

Hi Toby162,

We have successfully used a product Control Phreak to block incoming nuisance calls. While designed to stop PBX hacking and toll fraud it also will kill unwanted incoming calls as soon as they hit the Panasonic. Retail price is $495 including on-line installation, training and 24 hour support. This is an approved Panasonic product and verified by Panasonic Japan. This has solved this type of problem every time.

If you have a TDA/TDE/NCP with a TVA voice mail, you can use CLI. It's pretty slick, you build the unwanted numbers in the system speed dial table, give a CLI destination in that same table, enable CLI on the lines or DID. Then route the CLI destination in voice mail to a disconnect mailbox.

That works perfect Aaron. Thanks for the idea!

Suffice it to point a disconnected PT or PS for this specific number in the CLI destination cell of the system speed dialing table.
