Has anyone successfully used an Ethernet to USB adapter to connect remotely to an older TDA with only a USB connector? If so which brand and model please. I would like to try this out on a hard to get to customer.

Thank you

Not sure that would be possible. Pretty sure those adapters are made for adding physical ethernet ports to laptops that already have network circuitry built-in....I don't think they're capable of going the other direction and converting a USB signal to one that can be passed over a network.

Why not just use a CTI Link card? Or you could set up a PC with M/C at the site and use remote desktop software to access.

Why not use the modem card?

The only extenders I have used over cat5 cable do not go through a lan port, they are connected from transmitter to receiver directly and go about 150 feet.
