Customer has a 1232 V6 that is changing the voicemail transfer button and Intercept extension from extension 165 to the port programmed as the voicemail extension. This was on port 121 to 124 (DPT 8 ports on TVS220). The hard drive was flaking out on the TVS220, as it failed several times after restarts. The TVS would work for a few days and die.
We installed a TVA50 and within three days the Voicemail transfer button changed from ext 165 to VTR-121 and the intercept destination changed to 121. Today, I reset the phone system and cleared Voicemail programming then moved the VMail ports to 130 & 131, as they only need 4 ports. Waiting to see if it changes the VTR-165 button back to VTR-130???
Has anyone else ever encountered this before?
The vtr button to 165 is the voice mail lead number and if set will stay as the voicemail access code and not the port number. If you change the port you nees to set what ports are voicemail ports
