I have a mom and pop shop that has 5 phones and 2 lines. All in one small building. The new requirements have me putting the brakes on a TDA50, even though it is the most appropriate system for this business. They have standard pots lines from the local Bellco, which will not transport enchanced caller ID info. The 50 will meet the 911 outdial criteria, but the internal notification is not available. They do not have or want in house voicemail and have been using a Panasonic kxt-308 since I installed it in 1993. Any thoughts about small business inclusion in a law that is clearly directed towards enterprise and hospitality systems...

The problem your having is not that uncommon.
Enhanced caller ID is not always available.
Consider going with Hosted and that will solve the problem. Plus save them money.
