Just installed a system with 16 lines (they will be going to a PRI shortly).
Because of the high number of lines, they are using call buttons (switched loop) instead of line buttons.
Now to put calls on hold, they are using the system park orbits as well as the personal park orbits.
Now here's the weird thing: If you go to the softkey menu to pick up the call in a system park orbit, you select pickup, system, then 0-9. If on the other hand, they go via Intercom, * then the orbit number they enter 60-69. Hey DD, what's all dat aboot eh?
Is there an easier way to do this? They do not have enough buttons on most of the phones to put on all the park orbits. The only feature hotkey I see to program is park orbit (which is tied to a specific system park orbit, great for the secretary's DSS, but not so much for the 22-button phones.)
