Well, I guess we are rather backward in our setup. We don't have/use voicemail, ACD or auto attendant; all incoming calls are answered by a receptionist, then transferred to the appropriate extension.
It is difficult for the receptionist to know exactly which "mobile" employee is sitting at which hot desk at any one time. The idea is that the mobile employees take care of that when they arrive at particular desk; then all the receptionist need do is transfer inbound calls to the virtual extension (or similar scheme)assigned to the employee as a pilot.
Of course I could just stick a piece of paper at each hot desk stating something like "(mobile employee), when you use this desk enter code 600, then 605 340n to receive your calls." etc for each mobile employee. I thought there just might be a more elegant way of programming it.
