Got a call from a medical practice a couple weeks ago. They have an Allworx 6x at site A with a handful of phones on premise. It has software V7.xx. They also have 3 or 4 phones at site B 20 miles away with a VPN connecting the 2 sites. The issue is the remote phones are experiencing dropped calls and 1 way audio. Now, even though I am certified on the Allworx, I haven't worked on them in quite a spell. Two things stood out when I peeked at the programming. First, the server was set up as a DHCP server. This puts it at conflict with the router, which is serving the same function. Second, there was no port forwarding set up on the router. Their IT guy has since changed this on their Sonicwall router. I did not remove the 6x as a DHCP server as this was only a drive by/consultation. The last email I received from the practice says the problem still exists. Any ideas?
