It sounds like a dial pad key is partially engaged. I'd take that part of the set apart and hit it with some contact cleaner. Those rubber buttons can get partially stuck due to dirt/debris. Some Windex and contact cleaner should have you going in no time. I've been using my TS30 for ten years with no trouble. Not bad for a low-end butt set.
