Building a new hotel system this week, with spectralink, PMS, SMDR, call acc......so on....
I loaded in another sites Kermit Database that had all the same options. This site only had 1 per cabinet. and an ASU.
The one I am working on has 2 per cabinets.
Problem is from 53, in cim 1 everything is OK.
In cim2 it shows bay 8 which is the IP bay and
under installed it says ASU.
It won't let me unasighn it, the only option it gives me is cancel.
I remember running in to this before, but I can't remember how I rectified it.
Anyone have any ideas?

Is it showing up in form 1 - System Configuration?
Try deleting it there first.

It didn't show up in form 1 ,that is why it puzzled me. It still said it was there. I rebooted the switch and upgraded the software in the reboot, and it fixed itself.
I was then able to add my bay 2/ cim 2
