Having Problem of not being able to take the main console (SX-50) off of Night Service. The rest of the phone is fine. All call coming from outside automatically transfer to the Night Service Extension. I have checked all the buttons and nothing appears to be stuck. Can anyone tell me what might be wrong?

Try dialing *12 from console ,and try swapping the handset,if the handset is unplugged or not making a good connection it will automatically go to nights.

Is the handset plugged in??
If the console can't sense the carbon handset, it stays in "Night Service".
