Stupid question I know, but is it possible to replace the battery(s) on the IPC in the SX-100.

Thanks in advance

The three tabbed batteries are soldered on the board, but can be replaced by someone handy with tools.

FYI, hard to find. They are 1/3AAT. Digi-Key used to carry them, but no more. Most Batteries+ Can make them up, You'll have to take in the ipc or a sample battery so they see what you are after.

But FIRST, either print out present program or generate blank forms and fill them in. (Either way, boy is it fun! frown ) When you change those batteries, the program will be GONE, GONE, GONE! (Nobody said this is an easy field to work in! smile )

Good point John. I figured that was a given. I like to capture the printout to a laptop with the system set for the highest baud rate.

Make sure you initialize a few times before reprogramming. I like to see the dots go down in order, to know all's good.

I do hope you have what was there on paper too smile

But these batteries are chargable, so it get charged once it is on the system. So why we have to change the battery.

This is an old post but the batteries lose their ability to hold a charge after several years. The SX 100 is an old system and the batteries were probably gone a long time ago.

Mitel manual stated EVERY 3 YEARS! I think I'll lock this. Hello6, don't be bashful, click on "Start New Topic" while in the brand you want an answer for and ask! We like new guys! Welcome! John C.
