I have a mitel sx2000 light
this has been an ongoing problem with my switch
several single line sets have not been disconnecting calls both internal and external calls. local calls and long distance also have been a problem


I have swapped out sets ( even different brands) and the problems continue.
I have checked the dtmf receiver cards and from time to time it shows a port in the maint busy mode.

is this a problem with the ONS card ?I dont think it is a timing issue because not all of the sets are having the problem

any help with this problem would be appreciated

JUST for laughs, take FLASH away from those sets!

Many people will hangup the phone by pushing the H/S down, pause, and then let it up and hang up the handset for real.FLASH ( Flash = Ringback or hold/park, depending on programming)

What exactly do you mean by 'not disconnecting"?
What are the symptons?

Is this happened every time you are using those phones or sometimes? Make sure those sets has the same COS like the rest of the SLs.

The single lines sets will stay online when finished with an internal and external call. What I am hearing is an open line with no dial tone.Both connections will have dead air .
I go in and reso the ext will show indeterminate or will show online with the other the other set .
I then go in and maint bu then RTS
This is an intermittent problem

I have actually experienced the problem and using the handset to disconnect the call then checking the line a few seconds later and it still is open


all the single line set have the same class of service

check the jacks for corrosion green stuff in the mod plugs & jacks.

After icom's suggestion, if they are all on the same card, change it!

will check the jacks agains since the problem has been haunting the switch for a couple of months.

The problem occurs on several different ONS cards and also on different nodes

When this happens have you tried unplugging the phone from the jack?
Have you tried a new MCC or CSM?

Yes have unplugged the phone from the jack, problem still continues, after waiting several seconds, then plugging set back in,
tried with test set at the IDF and MDF and problem still there.unplugged set then used test set and problem still there, cannot disconnect, after ma bu ext then rts can problem stop
